Construction Update

The Schaap Center’s program partners, including the Grosse Pointe Theatre, along with the metro Detroit communities we will serve, are eagerly awaiting the completion of the construction of our state-of-the-art facility.  While the Schaap Center board remains optimistic, please understand that all artistic partners will be proceeding with contingency plans for alternative venues until the certificate of occupancy is obtained.

Thank you for your continued support.  We deeply appreciate your patience and understanding as we work toward a bright future at the Schaap Center for all of our program partners and the audiences who will share and enjoy outstanding artistic experiences.

We are grateful for the support and collaboration with the cities of Grosse Pointe Park and Detroit.
